Parole in place or PIP allows certain aliens who entered the U.S. without inspection to obtain an unlawful presence waiver and adjust their status to lawful without leaving the country. Your are spouse, child or parent of a U.S. citizen who:

1. Is on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces,
2. Is in the Selected Reserve of the Ready Reserve, or
3. Previously served in the U.S. Armed Forces or Selected Reserve of the Ready Reserve.

 Parole in place o PIP permite que ciertos extranjeros que ingresaron a los EE. UU. sin inspección obtengan una exención de presencia ilegal y ajusten su estatus a legal sin salir del país. Es cónyuge, hijo o padre de un ciudadano estadounidense que:

1. Esté en servicio activo en las Fuerzas Armadas de EE. UU.,
2. Esté en la Reserva Seleccionada de la Reserva Lista, o
3. Sirvió previamente en las Fuerzas Armadas de los EE. UU. o en la Reserva Seleccionada Ready Reserve.
